My Holiday
27/July/2021
WALT: Write a recount to capture my holiday
My Holiday
Yesterday my family and I went to Cape Reinga. We got to the Cape in our motorhome. My dad drove us up there. It was a really long drive. Tyson and Shyloh fell asleep on the way there.
When we got there it was really windy. The strong wind nearly blew me over.
As a family we walked to the lighthouse I zoomed down the windy
track I almost bailed over. When we got to the lighthouse my mum took some photos. I saw the two oceans meet. They are the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea. There was a massive ship going through the Pacific Ocean.
Then we went to Tapotupotu to go for a walk on the bridge and pathways. I stayed on the bridge. I really wanted to go fishing.
I saw steep hills on the way to the beach. The waves were crashing into each other. There was a massive tornado when we were there. It rocked our motorhome.
It was an extraordinary weekend. I had a fabulous family holiday.
Matariki
I liked creating this slide because I was able to learn more stuff about Matariki. It gets more interesting as I learn about Matariki. The images in the slide can move when you press start. I struggled with staying on task. What do you think I need to work on next time?
